Eight decades have passed since Black Tuesday. But that day -- more benignly known as Oct. 29, 1929 -- continues to live on as one of the darkest chapters in America's economic history.
At a time when climbing fuel prices and a lingering mortgage meltdown are shaking up the world economy, RAY KUGLER looks back to the day when the Great Depression was set in motion, with an asap Retro video report featuring some very old newsreel footage.
