"Call of Duty," the dominant game in the first-person shooter's dominant time period -- World War II -- has left its roots behind.
Infinity Ward shifted the fourth entry in the franchise into current times. Think Middle East, terrorism, high-tech.

The game studio's founder Grant Collier explains, and shows you around his offices, in this week's edition of "Up Down Left Right." "Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare" (rated M, $59.99 for Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3, $49.99 for PC) is out Nov. 5.
