NITTY GRITTY -- Throwing (with) the towel
Troubling with the short flip to first base? Time to throw in the towel. JOHN MARSHALL brings the lesson to you in this asap sports how-to video.

October 29, 2007
By JOHN MARSHALL, The Associated Press

Whereas making the heave from right field is more or less a matter of reaching back and giving it all you've got, the flip from second or short to first base is a little more technical.

Without the proper form, you can easily slip into Chuck Knoblach mode, circa 2000.

In this asap sports video lesson by JOHN MARSHALL, learn how the simple flip of a dish towel can train you to make the short, accurate infield throw.
